This Privacy Policy explains how StayLift, a brand of Machine Digital Inc. ("StayLift," "we," "us," or "our"), handles information when you visit stayliftco.com (the "Site"), request a free listing teardown, or use our Airbnb co-hosting services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Teardown & contact requests: your name, email address, the link to your Airbnb (or other) listing, and any message you send us.
- Co-hosting clients: if you become a client, information needed to operate your listing — property details, listing content, calendars, guest-messaging context, and your own payout/Stripe and cleaning-vendor account connections (which remain yours).
- Correspondence: emails and messages you exchange with us.
Information collected automatically
- Basic usage and device data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring page) via privacy-respecting analytics.
- Cookies and similar technologies used to run the Site and measure traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
2. How we use information
- To prepare and deliver your free listing teardown and respond to your requests.
- To provide, operate, and improve our co-hosting Services for clients.
- To communicate with you about your request, your account, or (where you've opted in) updates and offers.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run the Services:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf — for example, our form/email delivery provider, website host, analytics provider, payment processor (Stripe, for direct bookings), and cleaning-coordination provider (Turno). They may only use the data to provide their service to us.
- Platforms you authorize — for co-hosting clients, we operate within Airbnb and other booking platforms using access you grant; your account and payouts stay yours.
- Legal & safety — when required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
4. Direct bookings & payments
For client direct-booking sites, guest card payments are processed by Stripe and paid directly into the property owner's own Stripe account. We never take custody of guest funds or store full card numbers — payment details are handled by Stripe under its own terms and privacy policy.
5. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above — for example, to follow up on a teardown request, to provide ongoing Services, or to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements — after which we delete or de-identify it.
6. Your choices & rights
- You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us.
- Depending on where you live (e.g., under GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
- To make a request, email us at hello@stayliftco.com. We may need to verify your identity first.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
The Services are intended for adults (18+) and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party sites and platforms (such as Airbnb). We are not responsible for their privacy practices; review their policies separately.
10. International users
We operate in the United States. If you access the Services from elsewhere, you understand your information may be processed in the U.S.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
